This policy explains what personal data Niti Nest handles, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. "Niti Nest", "we" and "us" mean NITI NEST, the trade name of Rachna Dhull, sole proprietor, Rohtak, Haryana, India (GSTIN 06BZGPD3104E1Z3).
Who this covers
- Visitors to nitinest.com.
- People who write to us by email.
- Our business clients and their staff, who use our software, Yantra.
- People our clients deal with (for example their suppliers, transporters and customers), whose details a client enters into Yantra or exchanges with them through the client's own WhatsApp Business account connected to Yantra.
Our role
For this website and for emails sent to us, we decide how personal data is used. For data inside Yantra, our client decides why and how it is used, and we process it on the client's behalf under a written contract with that client. If your data reached us through one of our clients, you can contact that client directly as well as us.
What we collect
- Website: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, date and time). The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising trackers, and loads nothing from other websites.
- Email: your name, email address and what you write.
- Yantra accounts: name, work email, role and sign-in records of the client's staff.
- Business records in Yantra: what the client enters, such as orders, stock, purchase and dispatch records, and the names and phone numbers of the client's business contacts.
- WhatsApp: when a client connects its own WhatsApp Business account to Yantra through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, we process the messages that account sends and receives through Yantra, the phone numbers and profile names involved, and message delivery status. We keep the access key Meta issues for that account in encrypted form.
Why we use it
- To run this website and keep it secure.
- To reply to you.
- To provide Yantra to our clients as their contract says, including sending and receiving WhatsApp messages for the client's business purposes.
- To keep records the law requires, such as tax records.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Hosting providers that run our servers, in India.
- Meta Platforms, for WhatsApp messages, only for a client that has connected its own WhatsApp Business account. Meta handles those messages under its own terms with that client.
- Our email provider, for emails sent to us.
- Government authorities, when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Website server logs: a short rolling period, then overwritten.
- Emails: as long as needed to deal with your request.
- Data in Yantra: for as long as our contract with the client runs. At the end, we return or delete it as the contract says, except what the law requires us to keep.
How we protect it
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls that limit each person to what their role needs, encrypted storage of WhatsApp access keys, and separation of each client's data from every other client's. No system is completely secure, but we work to keep these protections current.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to tell you what personal data of yours we hold, to correct or complete it, or to delete it. You can also raise a complaint with us, and with the Data Protection Board of India. To ask, write to contact@nitinest.com. If your data is in Yantra because of one of our clients, we will pass your request to that client and act on its instructions. How to have your data deleted: Delete your data.
